What is NX-16?
NX-16 is the latest model of the 3D Body Scanner from [TC]2. The NX-16 utilizes a non-invasive scanning method to produce a true-to-scale 3D body model in seconds. The uses of the 3D body model are truly unlimited and includes:
- Sizing surveys
- Custom fitting apparels
- 3D product developments including apparels, automotive seating, etc.
- Body-shape analysis
- Animation and graphics
- Health and fitness management
- Medical applications
- Computer gaming immersion
The NX-16 uses safe white light for the scan and provides exceptional accuracy when compared to manual measurements. The process of scanning is private and safe.

Software
The 3D Body Measurement Software provides an easy and user-friendly interface to extract the measurements and manipulate the data. The definitions of the measurements are customizable and exported to other formats such as for CAD systems.
The software also allows batch processing of measurement extraction when required. This removes the manual portion of repeatable tasks by removing the need for user intervention.
Printing the scan results is also available for those who would require a hard copy for reference purposes. The print output is customizable to allow you to see only what you require.

Installation and Training
Tridigen offers a comprehensive installation and training service as part of a total package. As part of the installation process, the instructor would also involve the trainees in an interactive and supervisory session on how to install the scanner and set up and use the basic functions of the software.
Special training can also be provided for the detailed use of the software on in-depth understanding of the measurements to creating the final output that you require.
Tridigen also offers consulting services on your requirements and can assist you in optimizing your process to ensure that you extract the most out of your investment.
A high level training plan, as well as the pre-requisites and full agenda, can be downloaded here.

Face from Photo!
The latest version of the NX-16 now gives an exciting new feature - “Face From Photo”. [TC]2 explains the “Face From Photo” feature as follows:-
“[TC]2’s 3D Body Measurement System has introduced the Face From Photo feature to their Avatars and Virtual Fashion Interface. This feature will let a scanner make use of their own face photographs and have their own facial features embedded into their customized ImageTwin Avatar. It is an exciting development to custom fashion visualization.”

Virtual Fashion
With the latest release of the NX-16 software and the integrated virtual fashion software database, it is now possible to try on virtual garments on 3D avatars that are morphed to the dimensions of the body scan data used. Coupled with the Face From Photo feature, the realistic simulation offers an enhanced experience in virtual shopping.
Version 3.0 of the Virtual Fashion now includes a variety of hairstyles, skin textures, face texturing and body color texturing. There is also an expanded set of 3D garment content and supports the addition of user-created garment content using commercially available software such as Optitex or Browzer or any software that exports garments in open source formats.
